Dr Susan Hazel graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Sydney in 1989. After work in private practice she completed a PhD and worked in research and public health before taking up her current position in the School of Animal & Veterinary Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Susan is Program Coordinator for the BSc (Animal Behaviour), on the Board of the Dog & Cat Management Board of SA and RSPCA SA, and a member of the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee of SA and the WSAVA Animal Wellness and Welfare Committee.
