Dr Sam Allan currently is the National Veterinary Technical Manager within the Meat Export Program of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. She has worked in the department since 2008 and has had various national operational roles including Area Technical Manager and Field Operations Manager. She has extensive operational, policy and market access experience in relation to meat exports. Her current work is focused on meat policy, stakeholder engagement and training for government veterinary staff on export abattoirs.
