I completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2000 (Universidad de La Salle, Bogota - Colombia) and a Master of Natural Resource Economics in 2003 (The University of Queensland, Brisbane - Australia). I currently work as a Production Animal Clinician in the School of Veterinary Science - UQ where I am also completing a PhD part-time (Epidemiology of Campylobacter fetus subspecies venerealis in rangeland beef cattle in Australia). My research interests include: control and prevention of lameness in dairy cattle, teaching practical skills for detection and treatment of lameness and epidemiology of venereal diseases in rangeland cattle.
