Donna Bennett

Donna began her career in small animal private practice after graduating from the University of Queensland in 1983. Her career has also included management roles within a multi-national pet food company; a surgical internship at the Murdoch University Veterinary School and a Human Resource consultancy business. With a drive for more learning Donna completed her MBA with the University of New England in 2006.  She joined the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources in 2008 and today is the Principal Veterinary Officer for the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. She is passionate about career development and believes veterinarians have many opportunities for a diverse and rewarding career journey. Today she would like to share the diverse roles that government veterinarians play.
